Camping Barcares : the children’s club
Activities of all styles and for all ages are on the program at the children’s club of the La Croix du Sud campsite.
Every week, an evening is reserved for children! This evening is especially reserved for the little ones who present their mini-club show. You will certainly applaud our artists, but also the friendly atmosphere and the simple happiness of a festive moment together.
In addition, children will also have the opportunity to have fun at theplayground which will attract both young and old.
In Le Barcarès, the vacations are rhythmic during the day and in the evening!
Daytime entertainment for your stay at the Barcarès campsite
At the 4-star campsite in Barcarès La Croix du Sud, the day is conducive to all kinds of sports activities. So let’s go for a day full of energy! Morning activities scheduled at the campground:
- After breakfast, starting at 10am, jogging and stretching sessions are offered to get a good start.
- At 11:00 a.m., it’s time for the aquatic wake-up call for those who prefer to enjoy swimming in the aquatic area.
As for the afternoon sports activities, you can opt for :
- Sports tournaments (handball, volleyball, soccer, basketball)
- Swimming pool games (water polo, super ball) organized by the campsite…
- Petanque tournaments.
- One of the activities offered outside the campsite (extra charge)

The evening entertainment of our campsite in Barcares
In the evening, under the starry sky of Le Barcarès (66), when night falls, the glitter of the campsite La Croix du Sud shines with a thousand lights. The day of leisure and sports activities gives way, in the evening, to an enchanting universe.
From the covered podium, the artists take you to the wonderful world of the night. You will be surprised by the richness and variety of our programming. Dreams with magic, hypnosis or cabaret evenings. Wonderful evenings with shows, dance or cinema. Laughter with our comedians and our theme nights. For night owls, we offer dj, karaoke or dance parties and afters in our bar room.
All united around the same passion, vibrate with us during the retransmission of sports events.
The relaxation area of your campsite in Barcares
Do you want to take care of yourself during your next stay in Barcares? In order to enjoy moments placed under the sign of well-being and relaxation, the 4 star campsite La Croix du Sud proposes you to relax in its new wellness area. You will find a sauna and its dry heat (between 70° and 100°), a hammam and its wet heat, a manicure area and a gym. Something to relax your body and mind during your vacation!

The sauna
Well known in the Nordic countries, the sauna is used for its many benefits such as its relaxing and anti-stress effects. During a session, you will allow your body to stimulate its blood circulation, to relax the muscles after a physical activity, to beautify the skin by a deep cleaning, etc.
The hammam
With its humid heat between 40° and 50°, the hammam differs from the sauna by its temperature, its use and its origin. However, it too will offer your body many relaxing and soothing benefits.
