Whether by day or by night, our campground in Barcarès offers a wide variety of activities to suit every taste and interest! Thanks to the village’s new layout, vacationers can enjoy an even more diverse range of recreational options, with plenty of activities suitable for all ages. Sports activities, kids’ and teens’ clubs, Circus Camp, daytime entertainment, shows, and evening events: there’s something for everyone to make the most of their vacation.

The children’s club
Children ages 6 and up can be supervised by a team of activity leaders, who offer sports, treasure hunts, arts and crafts, and more—there’s something for everyone.
Every week, there’s a special evening just for the kids! This evening is set aside especially for the little ones, who put on their mini-club show on the campground’s main stage. Plus, the kids will have a chance to have fun atthe playground, which is sure to appeal to both the youngest and the oldest. A climbing wall, a large covered play area, a small playhouse, and a wide variety of slides are available for free use.
The Teen Club
We haven’t forgotten about teens! During summer vacation, the teen club welcomes teens ages 13 to 17 with a program specially designed to meet their interests.
Accompanied by a dedicated activity leader, they can take part in sports, challenges, games, and teen parties. Werewolf, Just Dance, social media-inspired challenges, shows, and dance parties: everything is planned to help them make new friends and enjoy a vacation that’s just right for them.
Circus Camp: Discover the artist within you
Want to try something unique during your vacation? Check out Circus Camp, a space dedicated to the circus arts, open to both children and adults.
With professional instruction and the right equipment, participants can try their hand at various circus disciplines and experience the unique thrills of this activity. The Circus Camp features, among other things, a flying trapeze structure—a particularly unique setup that allows participants to try their hand at aerial arts.
On the agenda: an introduction to the major circus disciplines, workshops, and training led by a professional team. And to end the week on a high note, the aspiring performers can take the stage in a grand show presented to the campground audience.

The evening entertainment of our campsite in Barcares
In the evening, as night falls over Barcarès (66), the lights at La Croix du Sud campground sparkle brilliantly. After a day of leisure and sports, the evening gives way to an enchanting world.
From the covered stage, the performers transport you to the wondrous world of the night. You’ll be amazed by the richness and variety of our lineup. Dream away with our evening shows, hypnosis, or cabaret. Be amazed by our show nights (suitable for all ages or children’s shows), and have fun at our foam parties. Laugh along with our comedians and themed nights. For night owls, we offer DJ nights, karaoke, dance parties, and after-parties in our bar area.

The relaxation area of your campsite in Barcares
After a day full of activities, it’s time to unwind! The new recreational area also lets you enjoy a wellness space designed to pamper your body and give you a true moment of relaxation.
In particular, you can enjoy an oriental hammam, which is perfect for relaxing in the humid heat and taking the time to let go of tension.
To take your relaxation to the next level, the wellness center also offers a variety of treatments: massages from around the world, facials and body treatments, exfoliation, hair removal, manicures and pedicures, and other beauty services. Some services require an appointment.
The space also features wellness amenities, such as a massage booth with water jets and a two-person whirlpool tub, so you can enjoy a relaxing moment together.

The sauna
Well known in the Nordic countries, the sauna is used for its many benefits, such as its relaxing and stress-relieving effects. During a session, you’ll help your body boost blood circulation, relax your muscles after physical activity, and improve your skin’s appearance through deep cleansing, among other benefits.
The hammam
With its humid heat ranging from 40° to 50°, the hammam differs from the sauna in terms of temperature, use, and origin. However, it, too, offers your body numerous relaxing and stress-relieving benefits.
The Fitness Center
Whether you’re looking to get back into shape or keep up your workouts even while on your camping trip in Barcarès, give it your all at the campground’s fitness center. Whether you’re into cardio or strength training, this space will let you work your entire body during your workout thanks to the various pieces of equipment available on-site.
These sessions may also include physical activity in the campground’s heated pool area.
Additional activities: rafting, paddleboarding, jet skiing, horseback riding, water jump, , as well as go-karting, bowling, and other activities (by reservation).

Off-season activities at La Croix du Sud Campground
Relaxing activities: early June through July 2, and from July 3 through mid-September.
During the off-season, we welcome seniors who come to soak up the sun, as well as couples with young children, hikers eager to explore our beautiful region, and many others… Our activities are quite different from those during the peak season, which takes place in July and August.
Daytime Activities
On weekday mornings, you can take the opportunity to relax in the heated pool or go for walks along the greenway with our activity leader, who’s sure to regale you with some juicy stories about our department.
We organize three pétanque tournaments a week, as well as a neighborhood get-together in a path on the campground.
Evening Activities
Evening activities take place 5 days a week:
A singing duo, karaoke, a belote tournament, bingo, a giant trivia game, and a show for the little ones.
